| Continuing Education Award |
The
Steven Melnyk Continuing Education Award is an AHSPO initiative
to encourage more Purchasing and Supply personnel to further
their education, qualifications, skills and knowledge base to
enhance their advancement in their working in the sector

| Application
dates |
The
Steven Melnyk Continuing Education Award application period
will open 1st August each year and close on the 30th September each year. With recipient/s announced at Annual General
Meeting each year.

How
to Apply |

| Value
of scholarship |
Applicants
may apply for funding towards more than one activity.
A. Postgraduate Tertiary Study: up to a maximum of
$5,000
Full time study load = $2,500 per six months for one year.
Part time study load = $1,250 per six months for one year.
B. Short Course/Workshop
Applicants can receive up to a maximum of $3,000 per course/workshop.
C. Conference participation:
Applicants can receive up to a maximum of $3,000 per conference.

| Criteria |
| To be eligible for this award, you must: |
- be
an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia
|
- be
a registered AHSPO member with a demonstrated history of
working in the health purchasing sector
|
- be
planning to attend a conference in the next 12 months period
|
- be
continuing or commencing postgraduate study within Australia
in the next 12 months period
